In the spring of 2002, the quaint little fishing village known as Murrells Inlet was forever changed with the arrival and grand opening of "The Dead Dog Saloon". Offering an extraordinary selection of lunch and dinner entrees including; fresh local seafood, awesome char-broiled steaks, pasta dishes, burgers, an amazing selection of sandwiches and appetizers and the world's greatest crab dip, the Dead Dog is so much more than a great, affordable restaurant. We are a state of mind!

In addition to our indoor restaurant and bar (seating of over 150), we boast the largest outdoor deck (outside bar as well) on the Grand Strand, with a seating capacity of 260. Our deck sits right over the water, offering the most spectacular view of Murrells Inlet imaginable. It will simply take your breath away. Swing on the hammocks hanging from the massive live oak tree growing up through our deck, gaze at the kayakers and boaters cruising past our outdoor bar, sunbathe on our chaise lounges at our own bikini beach. Oh, wanna play horseshoes? Yes we have that too. Dance the night away to the music of the best bands in South Carolina seven nights a week. Oh yes, and don't forget the food, there's none better!

To say our crowd is eclectic is like saying hospital cotton is white. You will find grandparents swinging on our hammocks with grand-kids, young couples and families, singles young and old, and all those in between including each May and October the largest congregation of bikers you may ever see in your life. WE ARE SIMPLY THE PLACE TO BE ON THE GRAND STRAND!
